IPL Photofacial

IPL Rejuvenation facial treatments at TruYou promote vibrant and healthy skin in men and women. These technologically advanced facials help give a more youthful appearance by treating conditions that are typically associated with aging and sun damage.

Our IPL system gently heats the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface. IPL Photofacials improve the appearance of wrinkles through collagen stimulation, reduce the appearance of sun damage, as well as treating vascular conditions such as Rosacea.

Over the course of a treatment series (typically 4-5 treatments depending on several factors which will be discussed in your consultation), IPL rejuvenation treatments can help restore the skin’s youthful glow and appearance.

The individual treatment results are subtle, but the overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic.

Laser Genesis Facial

The 1064nm laser is a non-ablative laser — this means that the laser does not remove the top layer of the skin. Instead, the laser targets the underlying skin tissue beneath the top layer of the skin to encourage the skin to naturally produce more collagen. The laser’s energy actually goes through the surface of the skin. It’s important to note that non-ablative lasers do not damage the surface of the skin. The idea is to make the surface of your skin glow — from the inside out!

Laser rejuvenation works for people of all ages and skin tones who want to reduce the appearance of fine lines or redness, tighten skin, as well as reduce pore size and acne.

Here’s the thing: laser facials are safe and effective treatments that produce the results you’ve always wanted.

The best results will typically appear after three to six treatments, depending on the condition of your skin and what you’re looking to address, and you will likely need a maintenance procedure every year.

Elluminate Facial

We are happy to offer our patients Elluminate laser treatments. Elluminate is a unique laser treatment that can do even more than traditional laser devices to give your skin a smoother, fresher, and more youthful appearance. Elluminate laser treatment with Cartessa’s EVO device targets multiple layers of the skin to erase skin’s browns and reds and stimulates deeper-down collagen to reduce fine lines and improve skin texture. Your skin is left more even, radiant, and youthful-looking.

The Elluminate treatment is exclusive to the state-of-the art EVO series by Quanta System. The EVO device incorporates four proven & highly effective wavelengths (532nm, 755nm, 1064nm and 2940nm) on one elite machine. These wavelengths specifically target the blood, melanin, and water at various skin depths of the skin. When layered together in a 60-minute Elluminate treatment, the results are impressive.

One Elluminate treatment erases skin’s browns and reds and stimulates deeper-down collagen to reduce fine lines and improve skins texture.

Laser Resurfacing

Partially ablative laser treatments such as Erbium YAG (Er:YAG) and Fractional (Er:YAG), use solid-state laser to remove the top layers of aged skin thereby stimulating the underlying layers to repair themselves, creating collagen and resulting in new, tighter skin and a notable reduction in brown spots.

Er:YAG is an effective treatment for acne or chicken pox scars, sun damaged skin, moderate facial wrinkles, unwanted birth marks, or hyperpigmentation including age/brown spots and melasma.

People with mild, moderate or severe facial wrinkles and sun-damaged skin can all benefit from laser resurfacing. It is also used for actinic keratoses, actinic cheilitis, facial pigmentation (eg, solar lentigines) hypertrophic scars, and rhinophyma.
All wrinkles are reduced, but those caused by the sun, especially those around the eyes and lips respond best. It is never too late – or too early – to treat wrinkles once they are established. Acne scars and facial scars from surgery or trauma may be reduced but very deep scars cannot be completely removed. Many benign skin growths and scaly patches on the face and elsewhere are removed with ease.
